ride off toward Mexico, but their trail is picked up by Risdon, and he and his men give pursuit. Kate, after initiating Whit in the art of love, uses her professional charms to earn money for new clothes and horses, and the two fugitives flee farther into Mexico. At the next village, they are befriended by cantina owner Pablo Hernandez (ANTON GIGERIAN), and his daughter Tina (KAREN LINDSEY), who hide them in a cave outside the village.

Whit, who has learned to shoot and draw a gun with Kate's help, goes to the cantina that night to see Tina, much to Kate's chagrin. Kate, beside herself with jealousy, also is in the village that night, to work off her anguished feeling in a professional manner.

Two of Risdon's men show up that night, one of whom goes to the cantina. He spots Whit and a gunfight ensues, in which Whit kills the outlaw. Tina grabs Whit and leads him to her home, and into her bed. Kate, rushing to the cantina at the sound of shooting, is spotted by the second outlaw, who rides off to tell Risdon of what has happened. Kate, meanwhile, learning that Whit and Tina left together, goes to Tina's house where she finds the two lovers in bed. Whit later leaves Tina to return to the cave.

Kate, her love for Whit now turned to hate, intercepts Risdon and his men on their way into the village and offers to lead them to Whit's hiding place in the rocks. Tina, making her way to the cave to find Whit, sees the outlaws and shouts a warning to Whit. The outlaws shoot Tina and a gun battle erupts. . . .
