Barbara Finch, a young steno who has aspirations to be a writer, is unseated by the sudden appearance of her sister Julia. Barbara has been avoiding Julia since she moved out on her a short time before. Julia stays with her best behavior for a time but quickly becomes bored with the celibate life forced upon her by Barbara. She moves closer to her sister attempting to recover the same relationship they had when they were children - the same relationship that had pushed Barbara into a nervous breakdown - a relationship that was by and large incestuous. From an adjacent storage room, however, intrudes strange sounds - sounds of lust and passion - which magnify themselves in the ear of Julia. The sounds draw Julia into the room. There she finds a young woman - a high priestess of passion - the center of a group devoted to pleasures of the flesh. Julia presses her incestuous relationship with Barbara and forces herself on her sister. Then she lures the sexually inhibited girl into the storage room in a gesture of cruelty of sister to sister. Suddenly Julia finds herself alone. Barbara has found a young man with whom she can identify and has left with him. Julia returns to her high priestess. She is lost in a world of lust and passion from which there is no escape. CREDITS Producer ....................... MORRIS KAPLAN Associate Producer .......................
