Trader Hornee
1970 Elisabeth Monica
Teaser Storyline for Trader Hornee 1970 marks the 50th Anniversary of Entertainment Ventures, Inc., America's Oldest and Largest Exploitation-Film Production-Distribution-Exhibition Complex, and its predecessor firms. The Towering triumph of the organization's half-century's accumulated achievements is, by any standard,. the audacious adult adventure-comedy Trader Hornee! David F. Friedman's tongue-in-cheek screenplay resurrects and puts down every jungle-movie cliche from Frank Buck and Clyde Beatty through Tarzan and King Kong to Goona-Goona. Hamilton Hornee (the ee's are silent), an impecunious Indianapolis private detective is hired by The Bank of the Wabash to determine if the long-missing child of a famed African explorer is dead, or, if, by some miracle, survives in the jungle, where her parents were slain by savage natives 15 years previously. If the girl is alive, she will be 21 years of age, and inherit the multi-million dollar estate of her father. Hornee and his Girl Friday, Jane, head the search party, which includes the villainous Max and Doris Matthews, cousins of the late wealthy explorer. If the missing girl

is not found, guess who inherits the money. Also on the safari are Tender Lee, a newspaper columnist and Stanley Livingston, a Zoologist, trying to prove the existence of Nabucco, a great white gorilla. In Africa, Hornee engages Kenya Adler, famed hunter and explorer as a guide. Adler is past his prime. In fact, he's a broken-down old drunk. The entire expedition is captured by the Meshpokas, the most feared tribe in all the Dark Continent. The Meshpokas are ruled by a beautiful young blonde white-goddess, Algona. Guess who Algona really is. The great white gorilla is the very British Commissioner of the colony... in an ape-suit, who, in reality, is a notorious escaped Nazi war-criminal. Max and Doris do not get the money. Tender Lee has a story. Algona frees all the captives, who begin their long trek back to civilization; except one... Hornee. Algona keeps him for herself. As the sun slowly sets over Meshpokaland, Algona and a happy, horny Hornee cavort, childlike in the jungle primeval. In between, much boy-girl, girl-boy, girl-girl stuff occurs.
