MOSE MASON returns to his Tennessee Hillbilly farm with a pick-up full of moonshine-grain, calling out three teenage girls to unload it. TOOTlE, Mose's blonde and bosomy niece, gets little help from LULU CAROLINA, his spoiled daughters who're jealous of her good looks. LIZ MASON, Mose's wife, protests his treatment of the girls, but Mose believes a little work hurts nobody. . . except Mose Mason. Having finally told Tootie that she's not his daughter, Mose scoots her off to swim with Lulu and Carolina, who've left her behind. At the creek, Lulu recalls a city slicker named HARRY who taught her the ways of sex, and passes them on to Carolina until Tootie shows up. The two impish girls grab Tootie, cover her with mud and send her home in tears.. . where the tempting blonde gets plenty of Mose's "sympathy." The SHERIFF comes by to stop Mose's moonshine; but Liz, miffed at being ignored lately, takes his mind off such "wild rumors" and onto sex.

The girls continue their game at home, and when Mose's still blows off, so does about everyone else. Just as things seem to calm down, three pokey FARMERS arrive, pushing an old truck. . and while trying to fix it, run across one of Mose's jugs. Meanwhile, Liz meets JUDD PARKER, a horneyold landlord who's all set to foreclose, and is able to payoff the mortgage in the best way she knows. Tootie falls asleep in the house with the two worn-out sisters, and all soon joined by the balmed farmers who think they're dreaming. Mose is dreaming, curled up by the barn with his ever-present jug, when a sex French damsel named DAN IELLE drives up. Though unable to speak English, she lets Mose know she's lost. . . and Mose is in no hurry to show her anyplace but the barn. In the house, the farmers and the girls get together. . . sort of in their sleep. . . then the gals are left to their dreams as the farmers move on. Liz returns just in time to miss Danielle's departure; all Mose gets scolded for is his laziness. Before long, he's finally gotten Liz to try some mountain dew, so with this at least in common, they enter the house to make love. . . commenting on the innocence of the slumber girls and the purity of life in the country.
