The Roommates
1971 Barbara Press
Five Playgirls In "RoomMates"
Five voluptuous young beauties on a swinging vacation spree become involved in a baffling series of violent murders in "The RoomMates," new General Film Corp. release opened in 1971. Cast as principal sexpots are Pat Woodell and Marki Bey, who appeared in "The Class of '74," Roberta Collins, from "The Big Dollhouse," and Laurie Rose from "The Box," and a new face-not to mention figure-Christina Hart. Like the previous General Film hit, "The Class of '74," the new movie concerns Southern California coeds who make sex research a part of the educational process. This time, however, there is the added element of a suspenseful mystery story. Arthur Marks directed "The RoomMates" and Charles Stroud produced, from a screenplay by Marks and John Durren, with William Silberkleit and Don Gottlieb as executive producers.
