The Notorious Cleopatra
1975 Sonora
Caesar, bored with the women of his country, seeks a new toy to satisfy his longings. His eunuch, Cicero, suggests the tabled, dark princess of the Nile, CLEOPATRA.
Caesar, jaded and homey, dispatches Mark Antony, his trusted general to fetch her; warning him to keep his hands to himself. Mark Antony, with his two lieutenants Enobarbus and Demetrius depart for Egypt but, despite Caesars warning, Mark Antony and CLEO become lovers.
That evening CLEO and her maid Charmian initiate the three Romans into their cult of love at the sacrifice of a virgin. An orgy follows as the assembled crowd pays homage to the God of Love with their bodies. In the morning Mark Antony finds Enobarbus and Demetrius exhausted from the night $ activity. Caesar's messenger appears declaring that there is war in the capitol and Caesar demands their return. They depart at once.

and Charmian enter Rome to seek out Mark Antony and destroy Caesar. An orgy is in progress. Later that evening Cleopatra follows Caesar to his garden and balls him, only to be seen by Enobarbus. He rushes with this news to a disbelieving Mark Antony, who quickly has her thrown to the rats in a Roman dungeon.
Charmian, however, disguised as a love goddess, seduces the guard and frees CLEOPATRA. They flee to Egypt. Meanwhile the senators plot the overthrow of Caesar and as he enters the senate chambers he is stabbed.
Realizing the gravity of their crime, they make Mark Antony the scapegoat. He flees to Egypt. Although CLEOPATRA places her navy at his disposal, Mark Antony is defeated at sea. With the Egyptian fleet sinking and scattered Enobarbus and Demetrius switch alliegance and set out to loot the palace. Finding CLEOPATRA about to retreat, Enobarbus strips her of her jewels and rapes her. Mark Antony appears and, in a jealous rage, kills them both.
As two Roman Centurians appear to take him to trial for murder and high treason he stands grief-stricken over the two bodies. Alone and without hope he plunges that dagger into his stomach.
