Described by one major European reviewer as "a new Brigitte Bardot without the pout," Elke Sommer made her first United States exposure when Sweet Ecstasy opened in 1962.
Miss Sommer, 20, has starred in 13 European films in the past two-and-a-half years, according to her American representative, receiving star billing opposite such well-established European and American stars as Horst Buchholz, Richard Todd and Walter Chiari. A linguist, she performs without dubbing in French, German, Spanish and Italian as well as English.
Her recent films include: "DON'T BOTHER TO KNOCK" made in England; "DANIELLA BY NIGHT", made in France and "WOMEN OF LUXURY", made in Italy.
Filmed in Cinemascope on the exotic French Riviera, Sweet Ecstasy was produced by Joel Lifschultz, directed by Max Pecas, and distributed by Audubon Films.

comes Olivier (CHRISTIAN PEZY), a young man having been brought up by his sister, Claire (CLAIRE MAURIER), a well-known stage actress who has not had much time for her young brother.
Through Barbara (VITTORIA PRADA), an aspiring young actress, Olivier makes the acquaintance of a group of very wealthy and attractive young people who live a full, pleasure-filled existence on the Cote d'Azur.
