The plot of SWEET & SOUR opens with a photographer getting turned off by the very detached and random

intercourse which he is constantly photographing. He wanders the streets of New York - and winds up at a greasy Greek dining spot; where he spots a long-tressed beauty at the counter, and gets into a reverie of imagined meeting and conquest.
When he awakens to the reality that it was only a brain tour of unprobed possibilities, he forces his shyness to the point where he attempts to make contact with her . .
She turns out to be a decoy cop who is dressed in disguise in order to apprehend a 'maniac sex killer' who is lurking the streets of New York.
That's the finish of the first portion of the film, and with great skill we flash into another sequence .. . .
