Teaser Storyline for "The Suburban Wives"
Sara (Eve Whishaw) comes to a residential suburb to take a job as reporter on a local newspaper, and wonders how she can find the kind of story that will get her to a big-city sheet. She gets her angle when she sees how a group of women react to a cosmetic salesman, simply because he's the only male around in the daytime! She will write the story of how Suburban Wives fill those empty hours when their husbands are away. . and she finds some juicy samples! Jean (Nicola Austine) enjoys the thrill of the chase and the clawing and grabbing of mixed sex. Irene (Maggie Wright) gets more than she bargains for when she decides to help her husband (Peter May) by giving his boss (Barry Linehan) what he wants!
Sheila (Claire Gordon) gambles on TV races and gets rid of her debts and frustrations by playing another very sure game, with the help of the bookmaker (Paul Antrim). Kathy (Heather Chasen) uses an

audio ploy to outwit her husband (Dennis Hawthorne) and take over the job she is sure his secretary (Gabrielle Drake) is enjoying. Yokki (Yokki Rhodes) takes up water skiing and learns other skills from her instructor (Ian Sinclair).
Carole (Jane Cardew) falls for the old photography game and the photographer (Robin Culver) and is soon posing for blackmail photos . . . and fun in bed. Jill (Sidonie Bond) has a husband (Timothy Parkes) who helps himself to the household help, but she and the maid (Mia Martin) serve him up a real surprise! Sara decides that her own sex life can be buffed up by a bordello setting . . . .
