On a lonely beach in the Mediterranean, Nicole (EDIE BURKE) meets Roger (IRA LEWIS). She takes him to her summer villa, which she shares with her sister , Laurette and learns of Roger's plan to kill her neighbor because he seduced and married Roger's fiance. Nicole, in an attempt to dissuade Roger from his youthful and emotional plan, relates the story of Andre (VINCENT PARRA) who was the son of one of the largest textile manufacturers in Europe:
Andre returned from college and decided to give up his father's business to become a priest. The father resented this decision and engaged his cousin, Don (ARMAND MESTRAL), to introduce Andre to the more earthy pleasures of life. Don takes Andre to his favorite cabaret, where they witness fantastic exhibitions of erotic dancing. It is there that Andre first sees Theresa (AGNES LAURENT) to whom he has an instant sexual at- traction. Don asks Theresa to play up to Andre, and she agrees because she is in love with Don. When Andre discovers that Don

has been having an affair with Theresa, he attacks Don and, in a fit of rage, kills him.
Nicole's story moves Roger, but it is not sufficient to dissuade him. He claims that he has been deeply betrayed, as his fiancee was the only girl to whom he could feel an emotional and physical attraction. Nicole seduces Roger, convincing him that he is young and has his whole life before him.
Nicole and Roger part, as they met, on the beach, with the promise that they will see each other in the city at the end of the summer.
