Inger, a beautiful Swedish girl, is discovered on the living room floor with her boyfriend, Andreas. Her wealthy parents are worried, and decide to send her to a fancy girl's finishing school, The French Institute, in Switzerland.
It seems that a number of other parents have the same idea for their daughters. The girls soon arrive in Lausanne from London, Paris, and other international capitals.
In order to be with Inger, Andreas disguises himself as a girl so that he can become enrolled at the French Institute. He is so successful in his female disguise, that he succeeds in fooling Madame Tissot, who rules over the exclusive school with an iron hand.
Andreas observes unusual goings on at the school. For one thing there is a budding love affair between Francesca, an Italian lesbian, and Inger.
Professor Lardier, who has an innocent demeanor, and a saintly face, is a newcomer to the school. He is charged with taking the girls to the top of a mountain for a weekend of

hiking and fun. A group of boys from a neighboring school meet the group at an inn, where there is an innocent evening of dancing. During the night, while the professor is sleeping, there is an orgy. The next morning finds everyone exhausted - except the dear professor.
Later that term, a fight ensues between Inger and her aspiring lover, Francesca. Andreas, who is very jealous, can no longer contain himself, and his real identity becomes known.
The school year is over, and the girls leave for their respective homes. Madame Tissot happily closes for the year, as Switzerland has survived the battle of the sexes.
