Secret Files of Detective X
1970
Detective "X" is the pseudonym for a prominent private investigator. With the idea of dissuading mankind from its follies and vices, he approached the producers with the suggestion that his secret films be made available to the public. The result is an entirely new type of motion picture. Never before have such scenes been brought to the screen, The majority of the film consists of scenes actually filmed by Detective "X" in the performance of his duties as a private investigator for individual organizations, and law enforcement agencies. Detective "X" briefly introduces each section with explanations a but his hidden camera and microphone technique ..and commentary on the circumstances leading to the investigation. Each sequence seems more unbelievable than the last, and yet together they serve to illustrate the old saying that "truth is stranger than fiction." Following is a brief summary of the sequences: 1 A young prostitute is visited by her customer during an investigation of white slavery. 2 A dissatisfied husband has complained
