This is the story of Cecily Hartford, a seventeen-year-old girl who, upon the death of her uncle and by the laws that existed, became the ward of a French family whose interests were less than honorable. Lady Charlotte Hamilton seduced her while her husband looked on, a vile game that they had played many times before, unnoticed. When Cecily became aware of her situation she escaped from the house with Lord Hamilton close behind, attempting to kill her to silence her knowledge of their depraved activities. Her predicament turned worse for she next became involved with a Countess who made Cecily little more than a sexual prisoner on the threat of turning her over to the authorities for criminal charges. It was while at Countess Quade's castle that she was forced to endure the most vile of sexual advances at the pleasure of the Countess and her many friends. A second escape only finds her a prisoner in Firerock Dungeon. As history will note, and this film shockingly reveals, this dungeon holds a reputation for the most hideous of tortures ever conceived by the mind of man. The historical plight of Poor Cecily will hold deep fascination and interest for all as a true record of times gone by.
