GERARD DAMIANO'S Odyssey is a psychological study of the first awareness of sex, and the taboos implanted in our minds that will later emerge as feelings of guilt and sexual frustration.

Lesbianism- Homosexuality- Sadism-Masochismevery deviation from the so-called norm can undoubtedly be traced to our upbringing...It's Bad! God will Punish You! You'll Go Blind! are just a few of the warnings voiced by family and friends at an age when we are first becoming conscious of our sexuality.

In a series of vignettes, Damiano probes and explores the repercussions of these early sexual conflicts.

There is Nicole, a young beautiful model. Wanted by many, loved by none, she is unable to face the reality of human contact and imprisons herself behind a wall of her own despair.

After a photo session for a bondage magazine, Nicole has a nightmare in which she indulges in every form of sexual perversion. There is also Claudine, Gloria and Catherine each suffering their own personal hell.

Odyssey is more than just another motion picture. It is an essay on morals and life: an in-depth study of the sexual hangups that engulf us all and like Nicole, make us prisoners of our childhood.
