Nymph
1975 Peggy Kramer
Teaser Storyline for Nymph Tommy, at a college "grass, music and girls" party has been asked via a telephone call to "go and find your father," by his mother whose parents have been injured somewhere up in Canada in an automobile accident. Thereupon, Cathy thumbs a ride with Tommy as they set out for some smallish, hidden cabin in the upper peninsula where his father always stays. The kids take off with little money, little preparation and a little red car. Their attitude is carefree at first - a lark - after all, a long leisurely drive, lots of time to make out, an adventure - but it becomes ruefully different as they come up against the harsh realities of northern Michigan. On the way north, they are ridiculed by redneck local hunters in a diner, and generally beaten down by the new environment, the roads, the weather, the people. Arriving in hunting country, their car breaks down and "friendly" hunters offer to help them and warm them up back

at their trailer camp. The friendly hunters throw the boy out of the trailer and rape the girl. The climax brings together boy, girl. father, the bad fellows who raped the girl and the doleful, close-up eyes of an extremely dead deer, bring them all together in a fusillade of 30 grain, high-powered bullets, which ought to slay our main target, the audience.
