Caught up in the swirling tide of student protest and rioting, a young man becomes the unintentional murderer of a policeman. Handcuffed and en-route to jail, he takes advantage of a momentary lapse in the guard’s attention and escapes to the woods. Soon, his pursuers tire of the chase and he is left to his own resources. As he walks near the seacoast he notices a young girl wandering aimlessly. Staring at her from behind cover he realizes that she is not only young but also very beautiful. Unable to conserve his swelling desire he approaches the girl, who, when she realizes what could happen, begins to run. The girl runs frantically to avoid the attack she knows will ultimately occur. Finally he catches her and rapes her savagely. Ironically, the girl was at the beach to commit suicide after finding out that her mother had taken a lover. However, once she had tasted the fires of passion that the rape had brought out of her, life takes on a new meaning and she decides that there is pleasure waiting for her to discover. . . leaves the scene resolving to enjoy a new kind of life.
