Back in his office, Vade receives a mysterious phone call from "Death"!
Vade, seeking to track down the mysterious phone call, goes to an
apartment in a condemned building. As suspected it is the love-nest for his wife and her lover. He discovers Rita taking a shower. He moves towards her but an unseen assailant batters him to the floor. He is dragged into a closet.
While Vade is lying there, his wife and her lover come to the flat and have an affair. Recovering consciousness he hears every word they say.
Durell, meanwhile, has been checking into Vade.
Rita, sitting in a gazebo in the garden sees bloodied figure of Vade staggering towards the house. Victor Yelin is arrested by Inspector Durell on suspicion . .
In the house, Vade tells Anna about her illicit relationship with Ragnar. He shouts his intention to prosecute her brother-in-law for embezzlement. While this is going on, Rita sneaks into Vade's room, Boris drags her into his own room. Vade walks in on them and orders Boris out of the house.
When Vade returns to his own room. . . a hand plunges a lethal blade into his heart.
The murder mystery becomes more and more complicated. Inspector
Durell finds everybody has a strong motive for getting ride of Vade.
He ponders as the family council is held in the light of the knowledge that
Vade has disinherited every one.
Vade's dead body is found by Boris. . . Who is the murderer? . . Are they all "Murderers"??
