Mirage D'Amour is a moody, contempory story that deals frankly with one mans desent into personal madness! andrew carroll, a man driven by the obsessive fantasies of his wife's sexual dominance and infidelities, takes a room in a run down hotel to wrestle his distorted sense of reality brought on by these fantasies. He is alone and desparate, his only company is a bottle of vodka and a loaded pistol. It is in this lonely hotel room thatandrew's story unfolds. Through a series of explicit flash backs, andrew recounts the events that have brought him to the room and to his present state of affairs. The graphic portrayal of inter-personal relationships and probing photography moves this film to its shattering conclusion.
