Michael and Helga
A young couple's search for sexual freedom and their efforts to combat previously conditioned neurotic points of view concerning sexuality, is explored vividly in Michael and Helga
The drama is heightened in the startlingly frank film through the atmosphere of unrest and tension which permeates the world's society today and under which turbulence men and women find it almost impossible to find themselves, let alone each other.
The film shows how, through faulty education, sexuality can be split away from the whole personality and drive young people into severe conflicts. It also examines the true partnership, physiologically and psychologically which should exist between young married couples in relation to the scientific explorations of such noted researchers as Kinsey, Masters and Johnson.
Sensational photographic aspects of the young couple's physical relationship are pointed up with unprecedented boldness and in keeping with the permissive frankness and healthy outlook toward sex manifest in our society today.
