The dashing detective, MIKE MALONE, is called upon by Mrs. Star to catch her husband with his mistress so she can get a divorce. Mike noticing the similarity between the husband and a sketch of a rapist in a case he is working on, takes the lob to get evidence. Mike hides in a closet and watches Mr. Star making love to his mistress after which he makes a confession and tries to kill her but is instead arrested by Mike.

The next client JUDY, is a seductive secretary to a scientist working on a sought after life prolonging formula. Before hiring him she wants to and gets to know Mike better in bed. Mike on duty at the professor's laboratory is approached by a flirtacious maid who is in reality a man in disguise trying to kill them all and steal the formula. Mike with the help of Judy escapes being shot and captures the would be killer.

After relating his escapades to his secretary they go out to celebrate at a cozy club where they over imbibe. Later at Mike's apartment as they shower together Mary accepts his proposal of marriage.
