Higher and Higher
1965
In London Vicky meets Steward West, a member of a popular rock group, and falls in love with him. During a hash smoking, liquor drinking orgy she learns Stewart's definition of love. The next day Stewart and his group are gone. Together with Vivian, a groupie, she fights her way through to Amsterdam, Zurich, Munich and Berlin. Through Vivian she learns how to be a groupie, a girl between beat and bed. She is smoking marihuana, dropping acid, and shooting the strongest drugs she can find into her frail body. She makes love to anyone and constantly invents new variations. At a black mass she sees Stewart again with another girl. When her friend Vivian appears again with her suitcase - collection of drugs she's ready for an escape - and she escapes to oblivion. In her search for a better <> Vicky and Vivian inject hashish. Vicky has a bad trip, the worst she's ever taken. With reality behind her, Vicky enters a world of her own. While people in the

streets of Berlin see a nude girl franticly racing through the rain, Vicky sees herself skipping through her world of meadows in blossom, a world full of colours and music. Hers is a world of music, love, freedom and Stewart. She's had a long trip from love to Stewart, drugs, back to Stewart, more drugs and finally. . . death. INGRID STEEGER For the last three years, Ingrid Steeger has been called BOMB of the screen. Blonde "Inge" as called by the "Daily Girl Magazine," is working now at her seventh feature, and has been named Postermate of "Daily Girl" and will probably soon represent the European Sex Symbol.
