Our hero is one of these millions, a Casper Milktoast character named Henry. Henry lives in fear of his wife's mouth and wrath. Due to his frustrations, Henry cannot even achieve sexual pleasure with his own wife.

When Henry attends an auction and buys a rare old trunk, his life suddenly changes for the better. A formula for making oneself invisible is one of the goodies in the trunk.
