Arrogant film star Joe Casanova, a handsome descendant of history's notorious lover, throws a costume party for a world-wide Swinger Club at his plush Hollywood home.
Dressed as characters noted mostly for sexual reasons, the international sinners engage in unique games of pleasure with Joe and his friends, some of which vainly protest his heavy involvement with the illegal group.
Ignoring the concerns of pretty Marian Leslie, his young bed-partner, the self-centered actor is accidentally knocked out and becomes delirious . believing the party's hit by a vice-raid and that he's brought to court on morals charges.
We now witness a whimsical spoof of a lurid criminal trial; for Casanova's hallucinating mind has cast this kooky melodrama with the Swingers, still wearing their party-dress. Thus, the Recording Secretary is a saucy French hooker - . - Judge Snitte a swishing Hollywood fag . . - and the Prosecution Attorney a witch-hunting Santa Claus!
Serving as Defense Counsel, a knightly Robin Hood argues that Casanova has inherited from his famed ancestor

the right to act as the greatest lover in the world. This idea triggers several unusual fantasies among the Swingers the women imagining they're with Casanova, while the men fancy they are the renowned libertine.
Dismissed charges prompt an orgy of celebration for all but the Defendant, who realizes how his own sexual greed stripped his life of everything worthwhile. When the bizarre nightmare is over, a more sensible Joe Casanova at last recognizes the pitfalls of a super-ego . . . the value of true friendship . . and the depth of his love for Marian Leslie.
