Education of the Baroness
1970 Brigitte Lahaye
An excerpt from the diary of Alice, a French maid: "It's the hundreds of little tortures and humiliations that give pleasure." Thus we begin a day with the Baron and Baroness Dupont, their maid, Alice, and Chauffeur, Hector. When Baron Peter and Hector leave the house, they quickly change clothes and roles. Hector demands Peter pick up a blonde hitchhiker. As Peter drives towards Paris, he watches his chauffeur-turned-Baron in the rear view mirror as he has his first sexual encounter of the day. At home, while the Baroness Charlotte bathes, Alice goes about her daily chores, including grinding fresh coffee beans into her lovely blonde snatch. Their day takes a complete switch when the bell rings. Alice is surprised to find her brother John and a charming thief, Mr. Finch, who needs a place to hide from the heat. Alice is petrified that Charlotte will fire her. "Finch will make her a model." The Baroness walks in, just as Alice predicted. Mr. Finch, with his seductive charms

and commanding character, soon has the household turned around. Alice is now playing Madame and Baroness Charlotte dressed in a little apron and nothing more, while the half-blind John, with cane in hand, plays the accordion to accompany some of the most outrageous lovemaking ever. Finch commands Alice to hold the Baroness down as he proclaims, "Look at the bitch. The leisure class should get it up the ass," and proceeds to give it to her. During a dinner of cold kidneys, which Finch makes Charlotte reheat (and not on the stove), John wants his turn to get in on the fun. Finch allows John one minute to find Charlotte with his cane, in which case he can have her. This begins a game of Blind Man's Bluff where winner takes all. And the wild games go on. After a hard day of Mistress Melanie treating him like a dog, Baron Peter returns home. When he asks Alice what's for dinner, she replies, "Perhaps Madame would like to supervise the cooking." "I certainly will," smiles Baroness Charlotte.
