Double Infidelity is a story that hits home to many of us. While this story deals with a soldier home from Vietnam, it could have been a soldier home from any war. World War II, the Korean War, or any other war. Our story begins with Jim, the soldier, visiting a psychiatrist at the base. Jim, much decorated for bravery, is war-weary-battle fatigued and the psychiatrist is sending him home. When Jim lands in the United States, he suddenly realizes that he will not be returning to the battlefront. He starts remembering his old buddies and the things that they did. Jim particularly remembers his girl-friend from Vietnam. Suddenly, Jim is home, and home feels good, but different, somehow. Things just do not seem the same. After a series of incidences, - guarded telephone calls, strange liquor bottles in the kitchen, he begins to suspicion that his wife has been cheating on him. At a party given by his wife in honor of his 'homecoming' his suspicions are confirmed. After the party he accuses her of infidelity and in his anger, he kills her. Accused of murder, he s found guilty and is subsequently sent to death in the gas chamber. RUNNING TIME 75 MINUTES Click here for more
