DADDY, DARLING explores the tender growing-up returns home and hears the sounds of her father and world of a nineteen year old schoolgirl, Katja, who lives alone with her widowed father. Their relationships one of deep affection for over the years, Katja has become very attached to her father. Now on the verge of womanhood, her father feels she needs a mother and proceeds to remarry. It is the beginntng of a new life for Katja, in the days that follow Katja vainly tries to cope with her own insecurities as well as the presence of another woman sharing her father's love.
As fime goes by, however, Katja withdraws more and more; her life revolving around her art classes, the woman who teaches them and a schoolmate. She freely discusses her growing sexual awareness with her schoolmate and this opens up the way for Katjo's First experience: a local boy, Lors, whom she seduces. Lars wants an affair but when he refuses to give up his other girl friends, Katja decides not to

see him again.
Despite feeling left out at home and being rejected by Lars, Katja is happy, until one night she returns home to find her father and stepmother making love. Stunned and confused, Katja flees to the studio of the woman who teaches her art only to discover that her art teacher and her female model are lovers. Once the truth of their relationship is exposed, they throw Katja out, telling her never to return.
Feeling completely abandoned, Kotja thinks her only recourses to discredit her stepmother so thot she might have her father all to herself again. While her father is away on a business trip, she sets the scene for her stepmother's disgrace. Her plan succeeds, but the next morntng instead of calling her father to tell him what kind of woman his wife really is, Katja remembers what her father once told her I love you both, Katja - you and my wife but in different ways. Katja now realizes that she must build a life of her own rather than destroy those of others. She packs her bags and goes out into the world, ready to accept the rich responsibility of womanhood and the fulfifling love of man. Click here for more
