a big hoorah down t' cuzzin Jeb's house. Everybody wuz invited, including one of our high falutin' relatives from the city, cuzzin Prudence. They say she's so rich she owns the city. Anyhow, they all commenced to show up, but cuzzin Prudence she was a might uppity, thinkin' we's all trash and like that, you know? Well, cuzzin Jeb wasn't about t' let her rune the party, so he spiked her punch with moonshine, real high octane stuff. After a few minutes it was a new shindig. She let her hair down and we had us a ball. The drinks wuz flowin' and the youngin's all wanted to get to know each other better so they keep over the barn where it wasn't so noisy. Funny thing for all their talkin' they seemed it hits more tuckered than us.

Anyway, Prudence got so pickled that she invited us all to a place in the city, a manshun she called it. But I guess that when she got back she warn 't too happy about what she did, cause when we all got thare for her party, she made fun of our clothes and sech. She said we wuz gonna be the laffin' stock of the party, what with all her friends from the city dressed up like penguins and like that, ya know?

Well, let me tell you somethin' they din't laugh at us at all, no sir. In fact we got on real good, especial them young folks, runnin' off behind them closed doors. Seems the city folk had as much to teach us as we did to teach them, special about handlin' wimmen. Fact is, they knowed some things we hadn't even thought of. Anyhow, it was just another great party and everyone enjoyed hisself and I think even Prudence came to her senses and growed up a mite. In fact, she wuz just around here with cuzzin Jeff and cuzzin Jeeter. Now I wonder where those kids got to.
