Cannibal Girls
1973 Eugene Levy
Teaser Storyline for Cannibal Girls When Clifford (EUGENE LEVY) and his girlfriend Gloria (ANDREA MARTIN) have car trouble in the small town of Farnhamville, they are certainly not discouraged. Even though Gloria notices the strange quiet in the countryside, it seems the perfect place to spend a lovers weekend. Mrs. Wainwright (MAY JARVIS) checks them into her motel giving them the colorful background of the town, especially the legend of the three beautiful girls who were supposed to have lived nearby and had a habit of seducing strange men coming into town and then later eating them. Eating human flesh and drinking blood is supposed to keep them young forever. While she is telling her story we see the three girls: Anthea, the blonde (RANDALL CARPENTER); Clarissa, the redhead (BONNIE NEILSON); and Leona, the brunette (MIRA PAWLUK). Each girl seduces a young man taking him to the nearby farmhouse they share where they brutally murder them and have Bunker, their grotesque servant, carry the fresh "meat" to the storage room. After

Cliff and Gloria get to their room, Gloria has the bad timing to fall asleep in the middle of their love-play so Cliff goes out to check on the repair of the car. Later Mrs. Wainwright shows them the way to a famous restaurant in town which is supposedly in the old farmhouse where the legendary sisters once lived. The young couple arrive at the restaurant to find they are the only customers and that a very strange, almost frightening man is the host, Reverend Alex St. Johns (RONALD ULRICH). The Reverend convinces the couple to spend the night in the house since an escaped maniac is supposedly on the loose and they would be forced to walk back to the motel through the dark woods. They are awakened in the middle of the night to find the Reverend and his three beautiful assistants Anthea, Clarissa and Leona standing over them. Cliff is handcuffed to the bed and Gloria is almost hypnotized into killing him but escapes run-fling through the snow to the road. She is picked up by the town doctor who gives her a sedative. When Gloria awakens she is dressed in the same clothes she was wearing when she slept in the afternoon and Cliff is there saying that nothing has happened and that it was all a dream. Gloria still isn't convinced and wants to go home but Cliff strangely refuses to take her. It's almost as if there's a conspiracy since she can't even place a call home to tell her parents where she is and the buses won't be leaving until the next morning. With no other choice, Gloria stays in Farnhamville with Cliff strolling through the town all day. She doesn't know that a young man in town asking questions about his missing sister has been killed and that the Sheriff (BOB McHEADY) has told one of the killers to be sure to send the body to his wife, saying "she'll know what to do with it." Finally it's night in Farnhamville and the Sheriff picks the young couple up for loitering. When he asks them where they want to go Cliff tells him they want to go to the restaurant. Gloria' can't believe it but has no choice but to sit back and cry and go where the Sheriff takes them. When they walk up to the front of the restaurant Gloria almost panics. The house she sees is exactly like the one in her "dream." The Reverend is also there with the three girls and Bunker. When the Reverend thanks Cliff for bringing Gloria she knows he has sacrificed her to save his own life. She becomes cold with fury. She turns, picks up an ancient mace, and swings it killing Cliff instantly. After he falls to the floor the Reverend, the three girls and now Gloria join hands and kneel around the body saying the ritualistic chant they have been living by for years: "Within me and without me I honor the blood which gives me life." Soon the Sheriff and his family are seen feasting around his table and then the scene changes to the dining room of the old house. The Reverend, Anthea, Clarissa, Leona and Gloria are all around an elegant table and each is tearing into the hunks of meat on the table. All except Gloria. She looks at the Reverend, then at Cliff's head on a platter in the center of the table. Gloria then smiles and digs in with the rest. . . .
