A Taste of Decadence
1975 Robyn Whiting
BERNARD EASTBROOK, a tough and bitter young man, has planned and set into action his big score. Hiding $100,000 worth of Heroin inside a red Porsche, driven by his friend LUIGI SALVATORE, he uses himself as a decoy to attract the border patrols attention, as he crashes a stolen car through the barrier. After Luigi successfully delivers the car with the Heroin to TONY BROOKS, the middleman, Luigi waits for Bernard at a specified place. BERNARD, in the meantime has ditched the hot car, and forces a former girlfriend, after violently raping her, to drive him to the meeting for the big payoff. TONY BROOKS, after being needled by his girlfriend CARLA and the dope dealer ERNEST GALLO into running more Heroin into the country, decides to stall by changing the meeting place. Angered, Bernard forces MICHELE ANDERSON, his former girlfriend, along and the three, including the weary Luigi, take off for a 300 mile drive to the new meeting place. They fight and steal their way across the desert, sex and violence their

constant companions. During a drunken party inside a desert cabin, they seduce Michele into her first lesbian experience, with Rose Levy, a former stripper, while Rose's lover, HERBERT C. GILLINGHAM, has to watch tied to a chair. After stealing more cars they finally arrive at the meeting place. TONY BROOKS, after finding Luigi drunk and alone at the cabin, while Bernard and Michele are making love in a nearby riverbed, decides to kill Bernard and Luigi and keep all the money. After wounding Luigi and leaving him for dead, he runs off to build a trap for Bernard. In a fierce gun battle, Michele and Tony get killed, and only Bernard and Luigi survive.
