Soylent Green
Soylent Green a futuristic suspense story from MGM starring Chariton Heston, Leigh Taylor-Young and Edward G. Robinson. Chuck Connors, Joseph Cotten, Brock Peters and Paula Kelly costar in the Metrocolor adventure.
The Walter Seltzer-Russell Thacher production was directed by Richard Fleischer, and was written for the screen by Stanley Greenberg from a novel by Harry Harrison.
Set in the year 2022 with the world rapidly approaching a totally poisonous atmosphere, a detective sets out to track down the assassins of a wealthy and powerful member of the board of directors of the company that supplies most of the nations food. He uncovers a secret so devastating that no man who knows it can live.
