Lovely Virginia Leith's starring role in American International's new horror shocker, "The Brain that Wouldn't Die" will undoubtedly go down in motion picture annals as the most unusual part ever conceived. For all of Virginia, including her very shapely body, only appears for a very few minutes in this thriller. During the remainder of the unusual film, only her pretty head is seen, set up-on a scientist's work table while co-stars Jason Evers and Leslie Daniels (all of them) enact their exciting roles, However, it's all part of an actress' work for Virginia who was born, raised and educated in and near Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents later moved to Los Angeles where she later met director Stanley Kubrick who gave her her first motion picture role as leading lady in his "Fear and Desire."
By the time the picture was released, she had become a leading fashion model but returned to Hollywood under contract to Twentieth Century-Fox. She enacted Important roles in numerous pictures for Fox and also played opposite William Holden for Warner Brothers. Now Virginia bids for renewed stardom with her unique starring role in one of the greatest shock horror films of them all, "The Brain that Wouldn't Die."
