Teaser Storyline for Body Stealers
At a British air show, the free-falling team tumbles out of its plane to float, wheel and turn with superb control. The watching crowd expects the jumpers' parachutes to open as the men fall through space - five, ten, fifteen thousand feet. Suddenly there comes an excruciating sound. Circles of flashing color pulsate around the jumpers. They struggle against an unseen force and disappear.
An identical disappearance happens at another airfield when designer Jim Radford (Neil Connery) is having his new-style chute tested before General Armstrong (George Sanders).
When other parachutists disappear in thin air, Whitehall orders a "quiet" investigation. Bob Megan (Patrick Allen), ace jumper and former American Air Force special investigator, is called in.
His investigation leads him along the romantic path of the strange Lorna (Lorna Wilde) and Julie (Hilary Dwyer), a special space researcher. They are aided by the eccentric Dr. Matthews (Maurice Evans), who directs his thoughts to other planets.
It is from outer space that the strange

answer to the disappearing jumpers is found.
