Teaser Storyline for Horror on Party Beach
The streets of a small Eastern town resound with the roar of motors and the screech of tires. A drag race between a Hot Rod and Motorcycles ends at a Rock and Roll Beach Party.
A shapeless mass rests on the bottom of the sea. Suddenly, a barrel containing radio-active waste is unloaded from a passing ship, plunges to the bottom and splits against a jagged rock. An ominous-looking black liquid oozes out covering a human skull. Suddenly it seems to move! It becomes an encrusted vicious monster which slowly twitches into life. "The Horror of Party Beach" is born.
Once brought into being, these monsters must have human blood to survive so out of the sea they come searching for sustenance.
The monsters strike the beach party first killing Tina (MARILYN
CLARK). Hank Green (JOHN SCOTT) college football hero, and
Elaine (ALICE LYON) enlist the aid of the latter's father, Dr. Gavin
(ALLEN LAUREL), a University science professor to search out
|
the
perpetrators of the attacks.
The monsters continue their murderous onslaughts unabated. They attack a slumber party of twenty teenagers - three girl motorists are killed, one of the monsters loses an arm. Upon investigation and experimentation, Dr. Gavin discovers that only sodium will destroy the monsters whose composition is largely water. Hank begins to gather all the sodium available in the area for a last ditch defense.
Meanwhile, Dr. Gavin, the police and Elaine test the lakes and ponds in the vicinity for radioactivity. Elaine succeeds in locating the hiding place of the monsters but in her haste to return to her father with the news, stumbles and injures her leg severely. Dusk is now falling and in the distance can be heard the menacing noises of the creatures emerging from their watery lair in search of blood. Gripped by terror and unable to move, Elaine watches in horror as her father is attacked.
The Horror on Party Beach moves on to a terrifying and thrilling climax.
