Teaser Storyline for "Horror of Dracula"
A diary incriminating Count Dracula (CHRISTOPHER LEE) is found by Van Helsing (PETER CUSHING) in investigating the mysterious death of his friend, Jonathan Harker (JOHN VAN EYSSEN), apparently the victim of a bloodsucking vampire.
Van Helsing finds that Harker's fiancee, Lucy's brother, Arthur Holmwood (MICHAEL GOUGH), and his wife, Mina (MELISSA STRIBLING), join Van Helsing in attempting to track down the human monster.
Lucy succumbs, but Van Helsing is able to bring her back from the dead, and free her from Dracula's evil spell by driving a wooden stake through her heart. Seemingly from out of nowhere Dracula strikes again, this time attacking Mina and carrying her off with him. He heads for his castle across the border.
Van Helsing and Arthur catch up with Dracula just as he is preparing a grave for Mina. Dracula seeks safety in the catacombs of the castle where Van Helsing confronts the vampire ...
