Teaser Storyline for Carnival of Blood

A world-famous amusement park is changed suddenly from a place of pleasure into a seething area of horror, hysteria, blood and murder that continues for 72-hours.

Before each murder a mysterious, strange trill sounds. The murders are brutal and ghastly. A woman's head is split in two, another woman's eyes are gouged out of their sockets, a third hapless victim is disemboweled and the entrails are later discovered in a huge, grinning Teddy bear.

Who could be the monstrous murderer that has turned the Midway into Murder Alley' Is it Gimpy (JOHN HARRIS) who is always acting so strangely and suspiciously, or his boss, Tom (EARLE EDGERTON), at the dart-throw concession! Could it be one of several odd strangers hanging around!

Might it be Dan (MARTIN BAROLSKY), the young and upcoming attorney who could be throwing off suspicion by pretending to hunt for the murderer with his attractive girl friend Laura (JUDITH RESNIK)!

Our suspicions are cast this way and that, punctuated by the fateful, blood-curdling trills that precede each murder.

Only after a high-speed chase and the thwarting of a new murder is the bloody assassin unmasked and the great amusement park returned to the fun and laughter for which it was meant.
