Corey lures Susan to his laboratory where he keeps his Zombie alive in a strange glass coffin. His weird fluids flow through the creature's veins and sustain him in a sort of life that looks like sleep, until the Monster is awakened by a special Injection. To avenge his son's death the Mad Doctor injects the serum into Susan Vanard that will not kill her; but will cause her to suffer a Living Death! Before his eyes she slowly is transformed into a Thousand Year Old Woman - a Living Mummy - able to feel every torture of the state of torment she's in.

As Susan shreiks in pain, Grimaldi and Cross close in on Corey's lab. But, Corey brings Akro to life and Grimaldi Is horribly killed by the power of the dead Zombie's death-like grip. A struggle ensues as Cross arrives and Corey refuses to give Akro his "life fluid" as he Is finished with the ZOMBIE! Akro kills Corey and then collapses in a rotting heap, as Susan locates the antidote fluid. Time passes and nothing happens she Is In a state of panic, but suddenly her horrible transformation works in reverse and she is returned to her youthful former self. But, on the floor of the Jab three corpses remain visible evidence of the close brush she had with a LIVING DEATH!
